About Know Yourself Better
I am a multi modal therapist utilising a number of different approaches, including hypnosis, to help my clients become the best individual they can be, to overcome the issues that are holding them back from a completely fulfilling life and find balance during these difficult and challenging times.
I am a Registered Hypnotherapist with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council, an Associate Member of the National Society of Talking Therapies and a student member of the UKCP.
Talking therapy can help you to discover and maintain balance in your life, to help you find a way through anxiety or depression. It can boost confidence and aide you to discover your true worth and value. Through person centred, talking therapy in a safe, non judgemental and confidential environment.
My aim is to help YOU become the best you that you can be.
My training, work experience and any achievement
I am a Registered Hypnotherapist with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), and hold
a Certificate in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy from The National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy NCHP) as well as a Diploma in Counselling Skills.
I am an Associate Member of the National Society of Talking Therapies (NSTT) and a student member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy(UKCP).
I spent many years in the corporate world working in numerous high pressured environments and am acutely aware of the anxiety people can experience from the demands of life, both home and corporate life in particular, as well as the challenges of achieving a healthy work / life balance.
I am enormously grateful for the discovery of therapeutic support to help cope with those anxieties and demands.

								HYPNOTHERAPY AND CANCER
Here’s what Cancer Research UK says about hypnotherapy:
As with many types of complementary therapy, some people with cancer use hypnotherapy to help them relax and cope with symptoms and treatment.
Hypnotherapy might help some people feel more comfortable and in control of their situation. People with cancer most often use hypnotherapy for sickness or pain. There is some evidence that hypnotherapy helps with these symptoms. It can also help with depression, anxiety and stress.
Hypnotherapy may be used alongside conventional treatments such as chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
